We wanted to sell printing and trade show solutions from our Kerry base. So we established www.printing.ie and we quickly started to get orders from all over Ireland.
When you want media solutions there are only four questions you want answered.
- What is the price?
- When can I have it?
- Can you design it for me?
- What's the quality like, show me samples?
So we can deliver the first three answers very quickly over the internet with our website, the fourth answer we have to post you the product, but not always is this requested as the site reassures the customer that the quality they are getting with Printing.ie is going to be good.
We wanted to turn our website into the silent Sales Representative, so that all the queries and questions would be answered it terms to quantity and price differences, technical data (if you wanted that stuff), viewing online design galleries, proofing the job and paying online.
It's a great feeling that your site is working when you get an order from a customer in Galway at 4.00am by e-mail, who's been burning the midnight oil.
"So you're not in Dublin?", we get asked this a lot. Our location has never been an issue, we have great dedicated staff and this is the backbone of your business.
In 2009 we purchased a 10,500 sq/ft unit in 4park Business Centre, Farranfore, County Kerry. We completed a €1.5 million investment in the business and in the past few months we have added three new staff.
